Don't You Think About It?

My husband and I have a great sex life. Period. I often find myself thinking about him during the day and get all tingly...

Whew!

So, tonight he calls around 10:30. When the phone rang I got butterflies like a teenager in love. I just knew it was him.

Our talks usually are around 15 minutes, which is pretty good for a man. We usually talk about the goings on around our house. What the boys have been up to. Work. Bills. We gossip a little too!

Check out the end of tonight's conversation:

Me: I was thinking about the way we got busy, while you where home

Ed: Oh yeah?

Me: Yeah, I think about you and me (you in me) several times a day. Don't you think about it?

Ed: Yeah, especially when I am making eggs. I think "ohh, these aren't fertilized"

Me (laughing, almost choking): you're stoopid.

My husband cracks me up! He is soooo funny!

Ed: I love you

Me: I love you too

Ed: Bye

Me : Bye, babe

Holdin' It Down

Ed left on Monday. We miss him so much! I try to keep the boys distracted, but it doesn't always work. It breaks my heart to hear my baby boy cry for his dada! :-(

He doesn't have a traditional J-O-B. He doesn't get to come home every night. And I don't make a big deal about his absence.

When the boys ask “where’s daddy”, I matter-of-factly say "He's at work".
When they say, "I miss dad" I say, "I miss him too".

We stay busy by going to the parks in our community. We are very fortunate to live in Temecula, there are plenty of parks to choose from and it is very close to San Diego. We go swimming a lot and , visit Sea World (thank God for the Fun Pass) often. We frequently go Balboa Park. We have memberships to a few of the museums that are located in the park.

So, I am basically holding it down as a married/single mother. I am okay with it.
